Mt Ararat is located in Wilmington NC, near the coast and we have been in existence for 146 years,

We are a connectional church of the 2nd Episcopal District.  The AME church founded by Richard Allen in 1787, has 20 districts, with 13 in the US and 7 in Africa.  One of the largest Methodist denominations in the world, with about 2.5 million members.  Our Bishop is The Right Reverend Reginald T. Jackson . Our Presiding Elder is Evelyn G Dunn, and our Pastor is Rev. Michelle Boney. 

We are a church of love worship and fellowship., where all are welcome.
